I've been trying to get back into that 'creative feel'... re-reading the graphic novel series 'Sandman' by Neil Gaiman, delving into several amazing books ('Time Traveler's Wife' by Audrey Niffenegger, 'The Gift' by Hafiz, 'The Present Age' by Soren Kierkegaard), exhaustive StumbleUpon image searches for beautiful things. I am constantly surprised by both the breadth and singularity of things I find, either because they are so appropriate to the moment and mindset I am in, or because they seem so overarching that they are always appropriate, no matter my state.

So, what I really want to know is... what do you find most beautiful? What inspires you every time you read/watch/glance at it?

  • Mood: Optimism
  • Listening to: Wishing Well - The Airborne Toxic Event
  • Drinking: sweet black coffee

A movie called 'The Dark Crystal', a Jim Henson (yes, muppets) and Brian Froud (yes, Labyrinth) collaboration. I highly recommend it, as it's my favorite film of all time. :)
